Inspirational story about the drive to make it to the Winter Olympics

I had the pleasure of producing some shows for WZRD Media that were part of an Olympic Channel Original Series called Far From Home. The stories are about unsuspecting athletes from countries that do not seem like your typical winter haven. One story we shot in Malaysia, Germany and Canada was about Julian Yee, the first Malaysian to ever qualify for the Winter Olympics. Its a really inspirational story. Check it out HERE

Moving mountains to make the shoot happen

This August, LA production company Furlined and agency R/GA called up looking for some help on a shoot in Jackson. They had local talent Jimmy Chin contracted to do some work with Western Digital. The shoot was incredibly last minute but we got them set with clearances in GT Nat Park and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and pulled together a lot of miracle logistics. As production can be it was last minute and hectic but the end product came together.

Producing in Cuba is a rush!

I had the opportunity to produce this action packed video for Sweatpants Media down in Cuba this winter. Planning the logistics of the shoot were a true test of patience and persistence in order to pull it off. From dealing with importation of the truck to insurance to getting permits and transport of gear, the project kept me on my toes 24/7. These kinds of shoots are really painful at the time but feel great when you see the final product. The crew was amazing. BJ Baldwin was a true pro in how he approached the stunt work. He is a badass. Viva Cuba!
